NatWest Group, in collaboration with Diode, has launched an online platform presenting its solar and electric vehicle propositions for businesses. This will house the bank’s existing EV and solar panels proposition all in one place for the first time. This is in direct response to customer feedback. The increased convenience for business customers will help them explore the right support for them on their transition to net zero.

The tools within the platform are free to use and you don’t have to be an existing customer. The platform will initially provide SMEs with help to:

  • Understand vehicle replacement options. Analyse vehicle trip data to uncover fleet-wide running cost and CO₂ savings, plus detailed vehicle insights for precise decision-making.
  • Engage with company car and salary sacrifice drivers. Drive electric vehicle update by giving employees access to personalised insights to help them find the perfect electric vehicle for their needs.
  • Get solar cost and feasibility reports. See potential savings, payback periods, and affordability of solar panels with instant reports.

As the biggest business bank in Great Britain, NatWest listens to companies and their sustainability goals. Research by the bank shows that 85% of SMEs are looking for extra support in the decarbonisation landscape. When it comes to the top blockers for action, 65% of businesses say that time constraints are a key obstacle. NatWest Sustainability Solutions aims to help by putting options for solar installation assessments and EV planning in one place.

James Close, Head of Climate Change at NatWest Group, said:
